Obverse: Crown dividing C-R; XXX (mark of value) below; Reverse: OBS: / NEWARK in two lines; date below. An ever-popular siege issue, this barely handled example presents a great deal of originality and, despite the typical crude nature of its emergency issuance, stands as a well preserved overall representation.
