- 1803 Draped Bust Half Dollar. O-103, T-3. Rarity-3. Large 3. VF-35 (PCGS). CAC. Rich olive-gray toning with iridescent reddish-apricot, antique gold and cobalt blue undertones on the obverse. The reverse is equally original and exhibits a halo of cobalt blue and golden-olive peripheral toning around a dove gray center. Smooth in hand for the assigned grade with ample boldness of detail remaining in the more protected areas of the design. An outstanding Choice VF example of the type, date and die pairing.
