- 1908-O Barber Half Dollar. MS-66 (PCGS). CAC. The Abigail Collection continues to deliver exceptional quality and eye appeal with this second high grade 1908-O Barber half dollar. It is a fully lustrous, expertly preserved Gem with wonderfully original toning. The reverse is particularly vivid with cobalt blue and salmon-pink peripheral toning framing a champagne-apricot center. The obverse, more reserved in appearance, shows pewter-gray central toning framed by a halo of powder blue. The strike is truly exceptional for this challenging New Orleans Mint issue, the often seen die swell on Liberty's portrait minimal and the eagle fully struck with all features crisp.
