An EXCEPTIONALLY RAREpattern issue, this elegant minor--a robust Gem in every way--offers blast white, wholly argent surfaces that yield to a subtle hint of goldenrod only at the extremes of the peripheries. It cannot be stressed how seldom one can expect to encounter such a specimen, which this cataloger able to locate just one other piece to sell in recent memory, an NGC SPECIMEN-63 in our April 2014 Hong Kong auction (lot # 31003), realizing a total of $9,560.
