- Lot 326 1799/8 S-188 R4 Overdate 9 over 8 PCGS graded AG3.Glossy chocolate brown. There are some tiny pits along the left edge of the portrait but no verdigris. The only notable mark is a rim nick over the second T in STATES. Essentially just a well worn cent with decent surfaces for the grade. The upper half of the date is clear but the lower half is worn into the rim, and LIBERTY is easily readable. The reverse is weaker with about half the devices still visible, and most of those are barely visible. EDS. Our grade is Fair-2+ (Obverse AG3+, Reverse Fair-2).
