- A marvelous GEM, a watery and toned example that is totally original. Flashy mirrored fields have a wonderful underlying reflection under a rich layer of blue, gray, slate, and teal patina. A wonderful old time looking coin that has a classic visual allure. PCGS 46, NGC 45, CAC 7. Only a single CAC-approved example has ever sold in auction, way back in May 2013 for $3,819. This coin has a very similar look. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $1,400 and the CAC CPG value is $1,410--we think this one is worth more. Good luck. Cert.
