Wonderfully CHOICE and very HIGH END for the assigned grade. We love the look of this coin, which has distinct claims to an even higher grade. Warm honey-gold hues are enlivened by a rich satiny gold frosty luster. Sharply struck devices show full details formed from boldly clashed dies. The surfaces are generally clean and free of any distracting marks. For the grade this coin is VERY HIGH END! PCGS 318, NGC 143, CAC 39. There are just four in MS63+, the only one of which sold for $9,300 in November 2017 (was CAC approved also). There is a wide spread for CAC approved examples and non-CAC examples so the PCGS Price Guides do not accurately reflect the current market values of CAC-approved examples.
