- GREAT BRITAIN. Charlotte Coronation Silver Medal, 1761. London Mint. PCGS AU-55 Gold Shield. BHM-66; Eimer-696. By L. Natter. Obverse: Diademed and draped bust right; Reverse: Charlotte standing facing, holding scepter and being crowned by Fame flying left; orb and lighted and garlanded altar to right. Issued for the wife of George III, this silver coronation issue offers gunmetal gray surfaces and some pleasing iridescence, though a fair number of scattered field marks and subtle rim bruises are noted for completeness.
