- FRANCE. Ecu d'Or, ND (1st emission, 1 January 1337). Philippe VI de Valois (1328-50). NGC MS-62. 4.53 gms. Fr-270; Dupl-249var. Stop to the right of the cross in the reverse legend. Well struck with good definition of the minute details such as the smile on the King's face and nearly complete full legends, with the tops of some letters off the planchet and a few letters slightly weak in the reverse legend.
