1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 6.1-M, W-2820. URS-12. Mailed Bust Facing Left, Laughing Head. AU-53 (PCGS). CAC. Glossy, basically hard deep golden brown surfaces verging on chocolate brown. Boldly struck, as is normally the rule for this variety of Laughing Head copper. Essentially mark free other than a hint of planchet roughness here and there, in the planchet when struck and not pressed out by the dies. All told, you will be hard-pressed to find a lovelier Laughing Head Connecticut copper.
