FROM THE PERFECTION COLLECTION OF CAPPED BUST HALF DOLLARS A gorgeous and highly lustrous GEM "+" O-108, the FINEST KNOWN of this Rarity-3 die pairing. Pearly and brilliant silver surfaces radiate with an intense cartwheel brilliance. This GEM is virtually untoned save for the lightest tinge of peripheral color that frames the exceptionally clean and lovely high quality surfaces. The devices are sharply struck, especially the central devices. Overall a very attractive and high end GEM that will delight any type or date collector. Ex R.K. Banister Collection, Heritage, August 2010, lot 4919 (housed in an older generation NGC holder); Heritage, February 2011, lot 3683 (as PCGS MS65+ CAC). PCGS 3, NGC 0, CAC 2.
