FROM THE SYMPHONY COLLECTION. Beautifully toned and conservatively graded, this 1901 dime is truly worthy of its gold sticker. Housed in an older blue label holder, the lustrous surfaces swirl with a brilliant radiance. The devices are sharply struck and frosted and both sides are dusted with a teal, rose, gold, and peach iridescence. Indeed, nicer than some MS66s we have seen. Most of these clearly disappeared in circulation. Of nearly 19 million struck, only 109 have been graded MS65 or finer by PCGS and NGC combined! PCGS 38, NGC 27, CAC 9. This is the ONLY Mint State 1901 dime awarded a gold sticker at CAC. Recent MS66 PCGS/CAC coins have sold in the $780 to $1,234 range and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $1,150.
