- 1794 Liberty Cap Cent. S-66. Rarity-5. Head of 1794. Good-6 (PCGS). Appealing and well above average for this scarce and conditionally challenging 1794 variety. Only minute roughness and trivial contact marks are seen on generally smooth and rather glossy surfaces. Olive brown with chocolate devices, the contrast creating an attractive appearance. Small planchet flaw on the rim right of LIBERTY which is as-made. Solid definition for the grade, the reverse weaker than the obverse as always, but clearer than often found at the Good level.
