FROM THE SEATTLE COLLECTION Despite a very low mintage of 5,000 pieces this date is generally available in GEM grade, as there are 59 graded MS65 between PCGS and NGC (obviously this figure includes some duplication). A lovely satiny luster enlivens the silvery-nickel surfaces. Generally smooth, there is a planchet flaw in the central reverse, but is mint made and does not detract from the assigned grade. PCGS 37, NGC 22, CAC 13. Totally fresh to the market, this GEM last sold in 2007, when it was PCGS Pop 24, none finer. Today, there are 38 finer.
