From the Hallett Collection. Tied for FINEST graded! Not only is this SUPERB coin high grade, it is also very HIGH END! A radiating luster that is brilliant, vibrant, and bold dazzles the eye as the light hits the surfaces at different angles. A light tinge of apricot-champagne tone delicately graces the central areas, while the peripheries show an icy-silver blue that comes out when rotated. The devices are exceptionally well struck and very nicely frosted. The eye appeal of this remarkable GEM is off the charts! PCGS 31, NGC 9, CAC 13. Only 5 have graded MS67+ at PCGS, none are so graded at NGC, although the Col. Green-Newman coin was NGC/CAC MS67+ FB when it sold in November 2013 for $7,050. Two PCGS/CAC examples sold in April 2017, one realizing $3,760 and the other for $2,820. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,000.
