FROM THE DR. STEPHEN DAVIDSON COLLECTION A virtually FLAWLESS SUPERB GEM, tied for second highest graded at PCGS. The quality and eye appeal are both sublime! Sharply struck devices have a rich frost, just shy of what would be needed for a Cameo designation. The surfaces are ultra smooth and glassy with just a hint of the faintest golden tone on the peripheries. A few minor specks are seen with the aid of a glass, but do not detract from the amazing look. PCGS 84, NGC 87, CAC 42. There are just a dozen graded PR67+. The most recent example to sell in auction brought $2,380 in July 2021 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,500. Just four are graded finer at PCGS, all PR68.
