详细说明: 1870 Pattern Half Dollar. Judd-964, Pollock-1060. Rarity-7. Proof-62 (PCGS). Standard Silver design with right facing bust of Liberty on the obverse. The legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA on the upper border, below is a ribbon inscribed IN GOD WE TRUST. Liberty is wearing a cap with two stars while her shoulder sports a ribbon inscribed LIBERTY. The reverse has an open wreath of intricately defined laurel and oak branches, with 50 CENTS in the center, STANDARD SILVER above and date below. Toned on the obverse with deep gun-metal blue, while the reverse sports more mottled toning of silver-gray the reflects blue tinges when viewed under a light. One of nine examples graded between PCGS and NGC, so quite difficult to find in any grade. Struck in silver with a plain edge.
