- 1853 Liberty Head Double Eagle. MS-61 (PCGS). Richly lustrous light gold with deepening honey highlights. A number of light marks account for the grade, though this one is finer overall than most of the MS-61 Liberty double eagles currently in the numismatic marketplace, at least to our eyes.
