1880 Liberty Seated Dime. Proof-67 Cameo (NGC). Struck from the Fortin 101 die pairing, the second 8 in the date broken and a large die chip noted on the M of DIME. Wholly untoned surfaces allow for a clear view of the cameo contrast, the frosty white devices seemingly levitating above fully mirrored fields on both sides. Just a handful have been graded at this grade level, with just one finer at NGC, making this superb Gem one of the very finest specimens one may have the realistic hope of locating.
