- 1905 Liberty Head Double Eagle. MS-62 (NGC). Vivid golden-yellow patina greets the viewer from both sides of this lustrous and frosty example that appears somewhat finer than the assigned grade. A sharply struck, nicely preserved Mint State survivor from one of the scarcer 20th century issues in the circulation strike Liberty Head double eagle series. Mintage: just 58,919 pieces. PCGS# 9047.
