- (t) CHINA. Yunnan. Tael, ND (1943-44). Hanoi Mint. PCGS AU-53. L&M-435; K-939; KM-A3; WS-0704; Lec-325. Variety with small stag's head. Struck for use in the French Indo-China opium trade. Mostly amber-gray in color, this enchanting, lightly handled specimen also displays some tinges of cobalt and magenta on the obverse.
