- NETHERLANDS. Franco-Dutch War. Siege of Groningen. 12-1/2 Stuiver, 1672. PCGS MS-62. KM-25; Korchnak-243; Mailliet-pl. XLV #13; Delm-738; MO-4.17.12.4. Weight: 7.25 gms. 24.5 mm x 24.3 mm. Siege: 17 July - 27 August 1672. Square uniface flan with arms of Groningen flanked by denomination (12 1/2-ST); Legend: IVRE ET TEMPORE 1672. This beautifully preserved example boasts sharply struck central devices on a nicely made flan. The surfaces display a light gray coloration complemented by lovely iridescent hues in the protected areas with plenty of remaining luster. Estimate: $300 - $500.
