- GREAT BRITAIN. Laurel, ND (1621-23). James I (1603-25). PCGS EF-45 Gold Shield. 6.85 gms. S-2638A; North-2113; Fr-242; KM-74. Thistle mint mark. Third coinage. Third bust; small rounded head, ties wider apart. Bold legends with a nice detailed virtually complete shield. Well struck with minor debris amongst the devices and luster in the protected areas. Lightly toned, attractive and appealing. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.
