- 1744-W Sou Marque. Lille Mint. Vlack-205. Rarity-5. AU-50 (PCGS). 33.5 grains. Iridescent golden toning with much of the original silvering intact. Softly struck overall, most significantly at the upper obverse and lower reverse borders where the date and heron différent require patience to fully discern. Planchet roughness in the centers is typical for the type, and fairly minor, and there are no post-production blemishes to report.
