- CHINA. Yunnan. Tael, ND (1943-44). Hanoi Mint. PCGS AU-58. L&M-435; K-939; KM-A3; WS-0704; Lec-325. Variety with small stag's head. Struck for use in the French Indo-China opium trade. An ever-popular type, the near-Mint example does display some rather typical striking weakness, but nevertheless yields some pleasing color as well. Estimate: $3,000 - $5,000.
