- 1866 Seated Liberty Half Dime. Proof-67 Ultra Cameo (NGC). A blazing silver-white obverse contrasts minimally with a lightly toned, golden-tinged reverse. Both sides exhibit strong field to device contrast that upholds the validity of the Ultra Cameo designation from NGC. Conditionally rare for this proof issue, and of further importance for high grade date purposes given the rarity of the business strike 1866 Seated half dime in all Mint State grades.
