Welcome back old friend. We sold this coin back in July 2017, lot 192, where it was described as: "A lovely later state of the O-103 with heavy die flow lines on both sides. Lustrous with a decent strike and just a hint of friction noted; bathed with a light golden hue which adds to the eye appeal." Ex. Allgood Collection, Heritage, January 2011, lot 3951; Legend Rare Coin Auctions, Regency Auction XXII, July 2017, lot 192. PCGS 76, NGC 40, CAC 21. This "GEM AU" sold for $5,288 in our July 2017 Regency Auction. More recently we sold one for $4,070 in December 2018. Clearly the PCGS Price Guide and CAC CPG values are not updated to reflect these prices. We suspect this coin will see very strong bidding when it crosses the block.
