详细说明: Representing the ONLY branch mint issue in the three cent silver series, the 1851-O had a mintage of 720,000. While not rare in an absolute sense, this grade is quite scarce and challenging, and is VERY RARE any finer. One look and you can see how seriously above average this coin is. This frosty lustrous GEM has an impressive originality to both sides with a pearly-silver and blushes of gold and iridescent pastel toning that comes to life when the semi-reflective luster pops under the frosted iridescent tone. Every detail is remarkably struck and stands out nicely. This coin is superior to the majority of 1851-O's you will ever see. Even using a strong glass there are no issues to be found anywhere. The eye appeal is fabulous! PCGS 39, NGC 14, CAC 20. The most recent example sold in May 2022 for $8,700. The published levels have not adjusted, with the CAC CPG value at $7,500. We expect strong bidding when this coin crosses the block. This is one of "our series" and we have not offered one in nearly three years!
