This impressive GEM is tied for FINEST graded at PCGS and NGC! Conditionally VERY RARE, despite a mintage of over 6.5 million pieces. A frosty, satin luster blooms from all over on this exceptionally eye catching GEM. A pearly, iridescent overtone offers a soft pale golden color that is brought out by the glowing luster. Crisply struck throughout, the intricate details of the design are fully brought out on both sides. The fields and devices are clean, without any marks of consequence worthy of mention. The eye appeal is quite nice. PCGS 11, NGC 7. The four most recent examples to sell were CAC approved-- you have to go back a decade to find a non-CAC example selling in auction. The most recent of the four CAC-approved coins sold for $21,738 in our January 2019 Regency Auction 30, and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $20,000. There are NONE GRADED FINER at either service, making this a prime Registry Set contender! Cert. Number 37907359 PCGS # 6574
