1829 Capped Bust Half Dime. V-2, LM-3. Rarity-2. MS-67 (NGC). Incredible quality for the type specialist. The surfaces are glittering white in color, with blazing mint frost covering the entire coin. Sharply struck and virtually untouched since the time of issue, as the surfaces are a delight to behold. This variety has three tiny lines in each shield stripe, this style was only used in 1829 on a few of the dies before adopting the two line stripes. Undoubtedly one of the very finest known of the variety, and of the date as well. An exceptional gem with bold visual appeal and of formidable quality.
