- 1855 Gold Dollar. Type II. MS-62 (PCGS). CAC. This lovely BU example possesses an uncommonly bold strike for the type that comes up short only in the center of the reverse, as expected. Clash marks in the fields around the central devices are as made, and also common for circulation strike gold dollars of this design.
