WOW, WOW, WOW! This coin is thousands of light years beyond so many of its peers. We do not know what PCGS was thinking by only grading it a 62+ (no promises). It might be only a single tiny tick from 63 (it is that close).
Killer surfaces are pretty clean and are boldly semi-Prooflike. Even when using a strong glass there is not much to see (everything is microscopic). You can see some Mint made striations from the cleaning of the dies. A full booming luster beams from all over. There is bold contrast between the devices and fields. Both sides are a GEMMY yellow gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations of any size. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is insane!
PCGS 41, NGC 24, CAC 4. There are just three in MS62+ at PCGS. VERY RARE any finer. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $65,000 and if you could locate the single MS63 with CAC approval it would approach six figures in price. Opportunity is knocking down the door here for anyone needing a sensational first year of type Liberty Head $20 or just a special coin to put in a box of 20s. Good luck.
