详细说明: Ex Gold River Collection. This beautifully preserved SUPERB GEM is tied for FINEST graded at either service with just two other MS67+s. One of the many popular varieties in this series, the 8/7 high 7 is readily evident with a low power glass. This stunning coin offers a bold, semi-reflective luster that radiates boldly throughout the fields, which show almost fully PL in places. The devices are razor sharp in definition and boast a thick, creamy white frost. While the other two coins are blast white, this gorgeous coin offers a frame of flaming crimson and gold patina about the rims, which is particularly bold on the reverse. Some scattered traces of minor contact can be located with the aid of a glass, we are not sure why CAC did not bean this marvelous coin. PCGS 3, NGC 0. The other two coins are blast white and CAC, and both sold in 2019, the Shucart coin sold in September 2019 for $84,000, and took the place of this SUPERB GEM in the Gold River Collection. The other is the former Tuxedo Park Collection coin which sold in February 2019 for $52,800 and is now impounded in the D.L. Hansen Collection. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $68,000. A coin of this quality and grade will certainly see strong bidding from Registry Set collectors.
