Obverse: Louis XVI standing left, placing hand upon constitution set upon altar; altar decorated with fasces, wreath, and Phrygian cap; in background to left, standing figures of Minerva (representing Liberty) and Aequitas (representing Equality); Reverse: Legend and date in nine lines within circular outer legend. Extremely vibrant and glistening, with deep chocolate brown surfaces and a lustrous, glossy nature. A hint of red accentuates near the extremes of the peripheries. Estimate: $300 - $450.
