详细说明: This is a classic look for a Proof Morgan. Icy-smooth watery mirrors glow in the light. This coin likely sat for many years, unmolested, in the original tissue paper, which imparted swirling orange, blue, green, rose, and violet hues. You can even see where the folded areas of the tissue sat against the reverse. The surfaces are essentially flawless; you can study the surfaces for a long time with a powerful loupe and you would be hard pressed to find any distractions. The eye appeal has a unique, original look. Only 731 proof dollars were struck in 1897. PCGS 10, NGC 14. The last PCGS-graded example sold in April 2016 for $9,988, before that, these were selling between $11,000 and $13,000. The current PCGS value is listed at $16,500.
