Smooth as glass surfaces shimmer with reflectivity and create a lovely backdrop to richly frosted, keenly struck motifs. When you add in the vibrant rainbow toning in shades of neon green, lemon yellow, fiery orange, crimson red, rose and electric blue, you really have an outstanding beauty! When scrutinizing the surface with a strong loop, all we could find were a handful of faint lines. Looks like a reconsideration candidate to us! Only 846 Proofs were struck. PCGS 27, NGC 28, CAC 4. An example sold in September 2019 for $1,680 and it didn’t have nearly the eye appeal of this piece! Such an inexpensive series to pursue these days in Gem condition.
