The Bert Davies Collection. Overton-101. The overdate, commonly called the "punctuated date" because of the period between "81", requires no further attribution after that feature has been noticed. Delectable luster spills over this example, modestly bolder than expected of the AU-53 grade, despite a slightly shallow strike. While not technically colorful, unexpected vibrancy of the powder-grey and smoky silver hues embolden the apparent sharpness. A minute, old scratch crosses over the obverse center and represents the sole abrasion.
