- 1863 Washington in Star / Shield, Eagle and Ribbon Civil War token. Musante GW-620, Baker-496, var., Fuld-105/198j. Rarity-9. German Silver. MS-64 (PCGS). 19.1 mm. Brilliant nickel gray with attractive satiny luster. Somewhat softly struck with gentle striated texture from the original planchet surface seen on both sides. Rare in this composition, which is not listed by Musante. Provenance: Ex William Spohn Baker Collection, to the Historical Society of Pennsylvania by bequest, November 15, 1897.
