Sparkling and Enchantingly Toned Szechuan Dollar (t) CHINA. Szechuan. Dollar, Year 1 (1912). Uncertain Mint, likely Chengdu or Chungking. NGC MS-63. L&M-366; cf. K-775 (for type); KM-Y-456; WS-0780. Variety with short stroke on "jin". Emanating from a type that was reissued over the course of two decades by the Szechuan military government, this choice example radiates with tremendous underlying brilliance and a degree of golden-iridescent toning that unfolds fully on each side.
