HONDURAS. 4 Reales, 1851-T G. Tegucigalpa Mint. PCGS VF-35. KM-20A. From a series that grew progressively more debased over the course of the early 1850s, this piece bears witness to its lack of silver content with copper-colored devices contrasting steel gray fields, the last vestige of any precious metal in the flan. Nonetheless, strong detail is presented for the issue, and wear hardly distracts from enjoyment of the motifs. Estimate: $100 - $200.
