This is a coin that looks as brilliant and high end as it did the day the dies came together at the Denver mint. A very bold impression from the dies has rendered all the details in their full forms, brought out in full 3D. Blistering, brilliant luster radiates boldly all over both sides; it is literally oozing from all over and the eye appeal is amazing! It is shocking that this coin survives in such a pristine state of preservation. PCGS 28, NGC 17, CAC 11. PCGS has graded a mere four in this grade with just a half dozen graded finer. The most recent brought $5,875 in our September 2018 sale of the Hallett Collection but this one has a bolder look and should hammer closer to the Collectors Universe price of $6,500.
