- GREAT BRITAIN. Coronation of William & Mary Silver Medal, 1689. William & Mary (1688-94). PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder. 35 mm; 16.91 gms. Eimer-312a; MI-I, 662/25. By 35 mm. Conjoined draped busts of William and Mary right, he laureate; Reverse: Jove hurling thunderbolt at Phaethon who falls from his chariot. Struck version of the official coronation issue. A splendid example showing minimal wear to high points and only a few scattered contact marks. Toned a light gray over lustrous surfaces with vibrant blue hues in periphery and protected areas of devices. Estimate: $400 - $600. Provenance: From the Michael Druck Collection. PCGS #607055.
