- PORTUGAL. Peca (6400 Reis), 1802. Lisbon Mint. Joao as Prince Regent. PCGS AU-55. Fr-122; KM-332. An enticing one-year issue known as a "Jar Peca" on account of the reverse shield shape, this very lightly handled and entirely wholesome specimen yields a great deal of brilliance remaining and exhibits just a few light marks behind the bows in the prince regent's laurel wreath, likely accounting for the slightly-lower-than-would-otherwise-be-expected designation.
