An incredibly lustrous GEM example of this conditionally rare date. Tied for FINEST graded at NGC, this blast white silver beauty looks like it just came off the dies. Sharply struck with an intense, semi-reflective cartwheel luster. The devices are nice and thickly frosted with a very clean cheek. The eye appeal is exceptional, and we have looked the coin over and over looking for something that would preclude CAC-approval, and have come up short; we really do not understand why it did not bean! PCGS 43, NGC 9. There are NONE FINER at NGC. The most recent example to sell brought $6,600 in the 2018 FUN auction. Prior to that, one sold in April 2014 for $7,638.
