A wonderful, totally original GEM 1860 Proof trime. Highly reflective watery mirrors are coated by a rich melange of blues, golds, and tangerine-rose that are a delight to behold. A strong glass reveals a few ancient lines, but they are all toned over on the richly reflective mirrors and they are appropriate for the assigned grade; we do not see why CAC did not sticker this lovely coin. Only 1,000 Proofs were struck. PCGS 11, NGC 10. The most recent non-CAC coin to sell in auction was graded by NGC and brought $3,525 back in April 2017. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,500. Just four are graded finer, and this coin will see strong bidding for sure. Cert. Number 38160411 PCGS # 3709.00
