- 1904 Liberty Nickel. Proof-66+ Cameo (PCGS). CAC. Secure Holder. Pale rose-gold and champagne iridescence engages the softly frosted motifs and deeply mirrored fields. For information's sake, PCGS has certified just seven Cameo Proofs of the date all told, five as Cameo and two as Cameo + as offered here; the die finishing at the Mint during the era leaned more toward brilliant finishes than to cameo contrast. By comparison, the firm has certified well over 500 "regular" Proofs of the date. The present Gem presents an overall excellent appearance. Tied for finest Cameo + Proof of the date certified by PCGS. Another grand opportunity for an advanced Liberty nickel aficionado. PCGS# 83902. Provenance: From the Land of Smiles Collection.
