GREAT BRITAIN. Unite, 1653. Commonwealth (1649-60). PCGS AU-53 Secure Holder. S-3208; Fr-269; KM-395.1; N-2715; Woodhead-341. Pleasingly toned example with a good strike. no major deficiencies and only light wear impeding the full relief of the devices. A fair amount of original luster still present in the orange peel toned peripheries. Shallow planchet defect at ten o'clock on the obverse noted for accuracy. Estimate: $6,000 - $8,000.
