- 1939 Jefferson Nickel. FS-801. Doubled Die Reverse, Doubled MONTICELLO. MS-66 FS (PCGS). CAC. A remarkable second high grade offering for this extremely popular, yet conditionally challenged variety. Lustrous and smooth surfaces are brilliant apart from the lightest champagne-gold iridescence. Impressive striking detail is razor sharp to full over even the most intricate design elements in and around the central reverse.
