This is a VERY HIGH END and totally original example of this conditionally challenging date! Blazing cartwheel luster rolls smoothly across the GEM PLUS quality surfaces. The fields, especially on the reverse are bold and flashy, particularly on the obverse some subtle iridescent golden-white toning. The devices are crisply and sharply rendered by a bold impression from the dies. A tiny tick or two might preclude an MS66 grade, but they have virtually no impact on the outstanding eye appeal! Quite RARE any finer! PCGS 476, NGC 156, CAC 36. Including no doubt some duplication, PCGS has graded just 32 in MS65+ and there are only 46 graded higher. This coin sold for $3,263 in a January 2022 online only auction, so you can disregard the published prices and the out of date obsolete APRs that appear in various databases. We expect this one to bring a very strong bid yet again! Remember a PCGS MS66 CAC in this market could well bring a five figure realization. Good luck. Cert. Number 44284722 PCGS # 7180
