- GREAT BRITAIN. Trade Dollar, 1908-B. Bombay Mint. PCGS MS-64+ Gold Shield. KM-T5; Mars-BTD1; Prid-18. Tied for third finest certified with six other examples on the PCGS population report, only surpassed by 12 other pieces (PCGS MS 65[11] & MS 66[1]). A brilliant eye catching and sharply struck example displaying lustrous satiny surfaces with minimal signs of handling as one would expect from the designated grade of this near Gem survivor. The relief of the frosty devices is accentuated by the smooth cartwheel luster on both sides offering an appearance that is quite a pleasing to the eye, an example destined for the discerning collector with a fine cabinet.
